Cheder is a lifelong community.  Besides the school itself, the "Greater Cheder" encompasses other community activities and represents the commitment of its members to sustain a vital Jewish community in Greater Takoma Park and Silver Spring

Holiday Services

Greater Cheder's volunteers lead inspiring and meaningful high holiday services and other holiday service in and around downtown Takoma Park. 

Illness & Bereavement

Members of the Support and Bereavement Committee are available to support families who experience a death or illness.
