COFFEE: Please set up coffee makers in the kitchen, not the dining area, as that could trip the fuse. Please use different socket so as not to trip the fuse!
(If that happens, please call Camerra from Sela (via Neal or number previously circulated)
Bagel Time Tips !!!!!!!!!!!
INSTRUCTIONS
** Please note: do not include any foods with Flax as we have a food allergy to that within the group- if you do include something with Flax please mark it clearly.
**This is the guidance we have used in the past. Because we are no longer in a Kosher space, feel free to add other items. We still want to keep the bagel spread, but you can buy fewer and supplement with a homemade item or something else that is “Jewish style.” AKA no pork, etc.
If you have any questions, please email or text someone on the Board or some experienced Chederite. For all bagel-related emergencies a text or call is probably best. :-)

- Bagels – 2 ½ dozen bagels. It is hard to predict how many families will attend in any given week so this is the safe amount to get. SELECTION / A diversity of bagels is great but get at least 8 or so plains/eggs for any finicky littles. For Goldbergs (kosher), if you order 2 ½ dozen bagels by Friday, you can arrange to pick them up Sunday morning - and you can even have them pre-sliced which saves a lot of time (remember to ask for the slicing when ordering). They are usually fine if you get there around 7 am on Sunday too.
- Juice - approximately 2-3 large containers--it's usually better to have more than less, and then take it home for personal use (so get something your kids like).
- Milk, cream, or half and half for coffee -- a quart if it's milk, pint or quart if it’s the other
- Lox – approximately 2 – 2 ½ lbs. (Tip: prices are best @ Costco, Trader Joe’s is a close runner up).
- Cream cheese – approximately five (5) or more 8 oz. containers or equivalent. At least half should be plain. Costco cream cheese bricks (3 lbs) work well.
- Additional items determined by you. Some people bring fruit (grapes, clementines, small apples), condiments for the lox including tomatoes or onions, and some bring other things like carrots, hummus, whitefish salad, cheese.
- Dessert items are supplied after first class …It has been suggested to limit the number of cookies put out so that the kids get at most 2 cookies or 1 each.
