- Bagels – With our current size, we suggest 4 dozen! It is hard to predict how many families will attend in any given week so this is the safe amount to get. SELECTION / A diversity of bagels is great but get at least 8 or so plains/eggs for any finicky littles. For Goldbergs, if you order 3 dozen bagels by Friday, you can arrange to pick them up Sunday morning - and you can even have them pre-sliced for $1 a dozen which saves a lot of time (remember to ask for the slicing when ordering). Bethesda Bagels are also popular.
- Juice - approximately 2-3 large containers--it's usually better to have more than less, and then take it home for personal use (so get something your kids like).
- Milk, cream, or half and half for coffee. Consider non-dairy too for lactose people
- Lox – approximately 2 – 3 lbs. (Tip: prices are best @ Costco, Trader Joe’s is a close runner up).
- Cream cheese – approximately six (6) or more 8 oz. containers or equivalent. At least half should be plain. Costco cream cheese bricks (3 lbs) work well.
- Healthy Items: We cannot live on carbs alone! Additional items determined by you. Some people bring fruit (grapes, clementines, small apples), condiments for the lox including tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, capers, and some bring other things like carrots, hummus, whitefish salad, cheese. You don't need to bring all of these things!
- Dessert items are supplied after first class …Enough for 2 cookies per kid please
